Roto & Paint – Clone, Copy, and Create: Frame-by-Frame Fusion
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Roto and Paint are two essential techniques used in visual effects to create realistic special effects in films.
In this nine month program, students will be given a practical hands-on experience to learn the art of tracing over live-action footage to create masks or cut-out elements, and creating digital textures to integrate them seamlessly into live-action footage. The course involves learning the use of different software like Nuke and Silhouette FX.
Since Rotoscopy and Paint involves high attention to detail and teamwork skills, the mentors at iGene school of VFX technology train students with strong problem solving skills, communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work within deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
